Whenever you place your order online, your payment is not processed until the day of delivery.  In order for us to use the verified secure shopping system for online ordering, we have to have an item that costs something in order for you to check out and purchase that item.  We never charge you $0.01, but we are forced to have a price for the service in order to capture your payment information.

Our secure online ordering system can process all orders placed by major credit cards.  If you wish to pay with RU Express, you can elect to do so during the online ordering process.  If you insist on paying with cash, arrangements can be made, however we prefer by card for the security of our drivers.  Special arrangements can also be made to pay by check.

There are two ways to order.  First, you can go to BTMlaundry.com and use our intuitive ordering system.  You will select what service you would like to purchase (Pay-As-You-Go or Value Plan), add it to your shopping cart, and then create your user account.  At the end of the process, you select your pickup day.

When you want to place an order again in the future, it couldn’t be simpler! Just log in, select your desired service, and get on with your day!

  • SPOT stands for Secure Point of Transfer.  When you create your account, we will also ask for you to identify your secure location where you can leave your garments for us to pickup, and we can do the same for delivery.  Examples include in the foyer of your house, around back on the deck or with the front desk in the event you live in an apartment building.
  • The majority of our customers give us a copy of a key, which we keep on a coded key chain.  When a pickup is scheduled, we can access your apartment or foyer by opening the front door.  Please leave your copied key in an envelope with your name and address so we can incorporate it into our coding system.
  • If you live in a Rutgers Dorm, you can leave it outside of your room.
  • We have established relationships with some apartment complexes and buildings in our service area.  If you notify building management of our presence, usually arrangements can be made that allow us access to your building, and you can establish your SPOT to be outside your apartment door.
  • You always have the option to create a copy of a key to give to BTM, which will always be securely held in our offices or delivery van.

Having processed tens of thousands of orders over the years, we have never experienced any issues when our customers leave their garments out for us to pickup, or we leave fresh garments for delivery.  The location you give us should be out of plain site if possible, and protected from the elements (if rain is in the forecast, or it is raining, we will hold onto your clothes, of course!)  In addition, we schedule our pickup / delivery shifts with you in advance, so you the time window that  we will be coming by.

In order to keep our prices low and the business running efficiently, we request that you take the time to establish your SPOT.  If you are unable to do so, we will have to charge you a $5 delivery fee if our drivers must go out of their way to meet you at your address.

BTM has processed tens of thousands of orders over the years we have been in business.  We are professional, discrete, and take pride in our work.  Usually Monica, Gabby, or Christina will do the laundry wash ‘n fold in our state of the art facilities.  Your laundry is always sorted and washed on its own and never mixed with another customers. 

We use Ariel laundry detergent to clean your clothing.  Ariel is a Proctor and Gamble company, and specially designed to work in high efficency, commercial washers.  This is the best option available to clean your clothing in our machines.  Snuggle fabric softener is added during the final rinse cycle of your wash to keep your laundry soft and smelling fresh!

We have a multi step system to ensure that we do not misplace or confuse your order.  We also have nearly 99% accuracy rate with all of our orders.

Since we do not record every garment you give us for wash 'n fold, we are not responsible for any misplaced garments you claim, unless you supply an inventory sheet with an itemized garment count.  If you do supply a sheet, we will check it multiple times during the wash and fold process and guarantee 100% accuracy!

Yes, download and fill out an Inventory Sheet from our website and note which garments need to be air dried.  Place those garments in a separate plastic bag within your laundry bag.

If you have a stain on your garment, we recommend using a Tide® Stick immediately.  We would be happy to pre-treat any stains you have for your wash ‘n fold garments, just use an inventory sheet to inform us of your special request.  For severe stains, we usually recommend the garment be dry cleaned.

While the price of common dry cleaning garments is displayed on our website under pricing, we do all types of dry cleaning, including suede, leather, and even alterations.  If you have an item that you would like to have dry cleaned, and the price is not listed online, we can let you know if you just ask! Our rates are comparable to any dry cleaner in the area.  In fact, many times we charge less while providing a better service because of our great relationships and efficient business model.  You can rest assured you are paying a great price and eliminating a trip to the cleaners!

We are happy to provide great deals when customers purchase a Value Plan with us.  Please decide which plan is right for you (you can always modify it without ay penalty) and order it online.

For your convenience, the plans automatically renew every 30 days.  If you would like to change or cancel your plan, please notify us at info@btmlaundry.com and we will be happy to do so at the next billing date.

When you first urchase your Value Plan, you can schedule the date of your first pickup.  After that, please use the "Returning Value Plan Customer" item to order your pickups as you desire throughout the 30 day period.

If your laundry weighs over 15 or 25 pounds, depending on your plan, we will charge the overage at our single order rate of $1.25 per pound, at the end of the 30 day period.
